About Hisar Academy
A House of Learning, Rooted Since 1980.
For more than four decades, Hisar Academy has served Muslim families across Southern California as a place where the Quran is honored, the sunnah is lived, and young people grow into thoughtful, faithful adults. Our campus in Northridge is home to students who come to memorize the Book of Allah, complete their full academic studies, and build lifelong bonds.
Operated by the United American Muslim Association (UAMA), our mission is simple and enduring: to raise a generation of Muslims grounded in their deen and equipped to contribute to their families, their ummah and the wider society in which they live.
We follow the time-tested methodology of Ahli Sunnah wal Jamaat in the Hanafi school — taught with warmth, patience and the certainty that every student carries within them a light worth nurturing.
